The wife and I went to Grand Cayman this week and had a great time swimming with the stingrays and fish. We had a blast! The rays get huge (the one on my chest is about 150 lbs.) They are wild, but are not aggressive at all. We took a boat ride out about an hour off of the shore to a reef and sand bar where you could actually stand up with them. At one time there were about 100 or more all over us. The captin of our boat said that about 1 out of every 1000 people get hit by them or about once a month. I asked him how long it had been since someone got stung and he said.... "about a month" We came out just fine though. Hope you like the video.

I have held those too down in the cayman islands. They are not at all aggressive and they love to eat squid right out of your hand.

Yep... not aggressive at all. The govt has now stepped in and only the crew members of the boats are allowed to feed them. Guess they felt they needed to regulate just what they were eating.
