Had the chance to fish with good friends Gene C and JV4 this morning on Hubbard. We started out at 6:30 am and finished at 10:30am with high winds. Started shallow and found fish laugh They actually started busting the water after we found them laugh Caught a lot of fish in the one spot. Good top water action and swim baits. Mostly nice whites and a few small hybrids. After that we went looking a little and the wind got up real high. Gene C has downriggers so that is what we did second part of the morning. I have not downrigged in a long time. Caught one legal hybrid and a big white for the short time we did this. Winds kept getting stronger and we were getting hungry laugh Seen the yellow Tahoe and chatted with him a bit laugh All fish caught on TNT 180s, humdingers, swim baits and top waters laugh I do not know how many we caught because Gene does not have a clicker laugh Fish were in 4ft-32 ft water. Water temp was 78 degrees and wind was S 100mph laugh
