Just look for the boat show out from the spillway. Troll in with your trolling motor and join in on the fun. The birds are good to follow also. I will say this, pray for rain all weekend so I can fish with no ski boats running over me. Be alert out there it will be crowded! Good luck.

Thanks Jason I figured id find plenty of boats on top of the fish. I hope it rains also. Hopefully it wont be as crowded as lewisville or other dfw area lakes.

I would bet the lake will be plenty busy. I suggest fishing in the morning and them returning home by lunch. Thats what I'll be doing on Sunday and Monday. The whites have been biting excellent lately. Most points and humps in 15-22ft are holding fish now.
Be safe!

I agree. my wife and I will probly get out a little, but not for very long and like chuck said, go out early! & just come in when all the idiots hit the water. Thats the beauty of living on the water, I get to fish so much, It dont bother me to sit out for the busy holiday weekends.(well, not completely sit out!) good luck to all & BE SAFE! coach
