johnny you back at home yet ??? you gotta catch some fish soon....anyways went out this am and did ok caught one 5 1/2 lbs hybrid and some magnum sandies .... went in to get to work and came back at 5:15pm went to check some places and finlly settled on a mid lake hump caught two undersize hybrids and a few more sandies... jason saw a few fish busting up and called us over ... went over there and caught 1 sandie , 1 undersize hybrid and 1 legal hybrid

Fished yesterday and it was the first day in a while with 0 hybrids. Caught tons of sandbass and yellows but 0 on the hybrids. Cant win them all but at least I caught. Good to hear that you finally caught allen. The hybrids come on shad? I have not caught any monsters this year on the slab yet, all have come on assassins, shad and slow rolling dd14

Pie, Was that you in the center console Triton? I was out yesterday hitting a few spots and only came up with a few magnum sandies and one 17' hybrid. Had my 3 little boys with me and handling them in a boat was a tough as the bite yesterday. All in all good day to be out.

I was out most of the day on Friday...nothing was going on. Guess I was a day early.

As always, get excited when I read posts like this. Thats really awesome! I get so excited that my heart starts to pound faster and faster. So fast in fact that when i'm actually on the lake I TOTALLY go nuts and try to hit every area I read about or I stick with the same areas spoke of here... then in turn, I end up with nothing.

I must not be that good at fishing.... = )

Fished this morning before work for about an hour or so. Caught three hybrids two 17.5s and a keeper that my friend dropped back in the lake as he tried to measure it on the rail of my boat where the sticker is. I need to bring him a tape measure so he can work in the floor of the boat next time. All on live bait. When Gregg came over they turned off?? What�s up with that?? Talked to him on the phone as I was trailering the boat, said he was in em again, but I had to go to work. Oh well, it was fun.

If I can get a pass, I'm thinking about giving it a shot this afternoon.
