Taking my neighbor and his 8 year old son out Saturday. Wanna keep the kid interested and on fish. Any help with general spots to try and lures to throw would be appreciated.

I'm checking the reports and preparing to head out with one or both of my little boys. You may call me at:

I'm no Boston Bob or Don the Angler, but we've been catch 5 - 50 lately in the evenings. Most have been small fish which is ok because it keeps my boys happy. We kept a few for dinner and returned the rest ....
121 cut and old damn cut are currently "fun" with silver TNT slabs or humdingers.
Most fish were < 10 feet deep.
