Just FYI, they will be dropping the lake level again 3-4 inches per day due to a supposed drought in Mexico somewhere. Water isn't even making it to Falcon from what I can see. Will keep ya'll up to date on current levels as they become available. Talking to Park personnel this evening, they don't know how long this one will last either. So, back out to the points again. Hasn't hurt the fishing any however. Still getting reports of over 50 fish per day. Wednesday evening jackpot (2hr. 45 min. tournament) was won with a 6.12 # on a swimbait this evening. 15.02 ft. below full pool as of this evening.

Thanks for the update Carl. My wife and I enjoyed our stay there at Anglers Lodge a few weeks back. It was very nice meeting you and Dianne. You really have a good setup going there with the motel, grill, and tackle shop. Thanks for being so nice to us.

how much does falcon fluctuate over the course of a normal year?
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

In a normal year, Falcon usually fluctuates between 15-35 feet low.

What does the drop in water do to the fishing, my dad, brother, and I are headed down there tomorrow night for saturday and sunday fishing. Im not very experienced with the lake when its full, much less with it so low. Just dont want it to be a wasted trip

Good to hear, I never seem to catch it when its on, so im hoping we will get lucky this weekend. We will be driving in Saturday morning and will be sure to stop by the tackle shop to load up on essentials, and try to ask around for some good spots to try out. And whether we find the green fish or not, it will be a good trip with the guys!

I just returned from lake Baccarac and the water was low but fishing was world classSometimes water level is really not a concern.
