Where do you guys launch from on Ray Bob? I have never fished that lake and was interested in going. We launch from the Isle du Bois State Park, though there are many other launch options on Bob, depends on which direction you're coming from. State Park launches are a little more secure than some of the other launch sites. I hate Buck Creek, long walk and the parking lot is out of sight from the actual ramp, perfect for the vandals and thieves. Johnson State Bark and Sanger ramp are also fairly secure. Good luck!

Great job guys. Your son has caught more fish this year than most grown men. Had to sit out the past seven days for work reasons. Excited to get out again Fri-Sun. See you on the lake soon.

Go ahead and tell him that was a 10 pounder - can't do any harm That's the stuff he's gonna remember years from now. Oh, launch ramps - I second the recommendation for Isle Du Bois. Just started using it this past month and I love it. Well worth the launch fee or annual park pass.

I used to use Isle Du Bois, but I was dissappointed a couple months ago, when I noticed they got rid of the wind and wave breakers...That ramp faces southwest'ish and the waves(especially in the spring) can pound ya.. Anyone know why the breakers are no longer there? I now use the Sanger unit because there are two ramps, one facing north and one facing south (by marina). So no matter the weather you can launch/load with ease..
