I'm thinking about shooting some docks on Medina for crappie in a couple of days. I fish out of a canoe, so it helps to be able to put in somewhat close to docks. Which landing would give me the shortest paddle to docks on the water? Park? or the dam? Thanks!

I haven't fished medina but if canyon lake is any comparison then their in about 18ft of water and at times they would come up as much as 5ft deep in the same water. Look for some brush on your sonar. Also they were right on the drop offs, it might be 15ft on one side of the boat and 22ft on the other. Hope that helps!

It has docks, huh???

I'll be down in Kerrville this summer for a 2-day conference. Might just have to bring the boat down and go fish that lake, then wink
