Well, it took awhile running around to Lowes, Home Depot, and several other places online for the correct ballast and bulb, PVC, but finally got everything together to build my first Green light which is a light of 4 ft long, and 5 ft if you count the whole thing with ballast.... I'm stoked to try it out this weekend... I"m hoping it will work twice as good as the little dinky lights I"ve bought in the stores and tried out in the past... COME TO THE LIGHT CRAPPIE, COME TO THE NICE GREEN LIGHT smile Will try and post results from trying it out... thinking of hitting RR this Friday or Sat night.... Will be first night fishing attempt this year.

Pictures of my garage lights off and on with the light... smile

Crappie Chaser, Beltonbanger,
Do you have plans on how to build the lights?
Also tips/tricks on what to stay away from as far as parts are concerned, where to buy the best parts the cheapest.
You know just general knowledge you have acquired in the building of your lights.
Thanks,
Fab

I know I had a heck of a time just finging replacement bulb
for mine. I found one online at Light Bulb Depot , Shipping costs were more than the bulb.I think the total turned out to be
around $20.00. The first one came in broken,
but they replaced with not much hassel.

good luck

LOL you are going to have a bunch of drunk fisherman calling 911 for the UFO sightings. Now that's a light.

It really puts out the light. some people question the
$$ but there is just no comparison to the amout of light
generated.
