The corp lists canyon lake as poor crappie fishing so all of you guys stay away there ain't no crappie in this lake. Caught em in 18ft of water on corp condo's, kept these 21 and caught about 50 in 5 hours, all were females except 1 and all still had some eggs in them. You can tell they've been spawning hard just look at the bigger one's tales.

treebass, the corp has put out some fish attractors (brushpiles and condos)I'm not sure if they have them publically available or not. I got them from a co-worker who bass fishes a lot and he just printed the map and gps coords instead of emailing it to me. I will see if I can get them and pm you. To answer your question, they were 18ft. deep about 2 turns off the bottom, hitting on minnows the most but did catch quite a few on black&pink and black&char tube jigs

The corp brushpiles get hit all the time, becouse the locations
are public. There are crappie everywhere though. There is brush
in all parts of the lake.If you find a little submerged brush
that dose not get alot of preasure and most of the time you
can catch a mess of crappie. Hope this helps. Good Day,
