 River fly fishing in central Texas

Okay,
I have a fly rod and a sit on top kayak. I see some pretty nice rivers in and near Brazos county, although they are all muddy. Any of these good for fly fishing
I asked around and was told they are mostly catfish and hard to catch much else on them?
