Looking for opinions on this boat as oppose to the 929. I like the open concept of this boat and would like people that have experience fishing or own these boats to leave their opinions good or bad about it. What is your setup and how is your satisfaction. Any problems with customer service that we hear about? Thanks for your constructive opinions.

Don't have one, but I will say that a lot of people I have talked to that have had problems with their Tracker products have been very dissappointed in the customer service. I also rain into a guy just a couple weeks ago that had a Nitro and he was looking at my Skeeter. I asked him how he liked his boat and he shook his head and just aid he wished he would have saved for a few more months and gotten a Skeeter or Triton. Again, I don't have one. They seem to have good storage and plenty of room. Don't know about ride or performance. The customer service is something I hear about quite often though so that is something to take into consideration after you hear it from several different individuals.

You couldnt pay me money to but a triton to many fiberglass and gelcoat problems. I would go with the 929 more bang for your buck. You put a 225 Verado on that and you have your self a great looking and a good fishing platform. I fish a nitro 884 by far best boat ive ridden in.

I am really happy with my 911 cdc. lots of decks space on all 9 series boats. More storage than most.

Email me if you have any specific questions, be glad to give you an honest answer.

The 9 series boats are a different breed of Nitro's in my opinion. You don't normally hear people say to many negative things about that line of Nitro's.

To answer your question if it is comfort while fishing the 911 is a beast with huge decks and plenty of seating. Only negative I have heard about these is they really need more than a 225 to make them perform. The 929 is a performer with the 225. I used to fish against a guy that had a 929 and it would surprise you with its speed.

So I think it just depends on what you are looking for the speed or comfort. I know speed is relative and no I am not saying the 929 will run with a Bullet or Allison, it will be significantly faster than the 911...I have heard that 70 is not realistic with a 911 225 combo.

Outside of the running around against the 929 I don't have much experience in it...but I wanted you to hear something beside a bunch of negative against the Nitros. As a matter of fact I think in the used market they can be very competitive price wise due to the reputation some people give them.

Good luck...they are good looking boats.

I looked SERIOUSLY at the 911 CDC .. after sitting in one and looking it over for about an hour I was really looking at the typical dual console design in a different light.

What wound up helping make my decision was price .. but I was very very close on the CDC ... Great boat in my opinion .. I haven't heard anything bad on the 929's / 911's ...

Too many good boats out there to waste money on a nitro. Not to be too harsh on the nitro guys, I'm sure there are lots of satisfied nitro owners out there, but when you compare apples to apples...

Resale will kill you on a nitro, fit and finish is not the best, ride is not very good from my experience (9-series).

It's a nitro, you may pay less at the dealer but you will make up for the low cost in repairs. I have never heard of anyone who owned a nitro for a long period of time be happy with them.

Well I love mine I will continue to buy them. I used to have negative thought about them but Nitronate showed me that I was wrong. I dont think that you can go on what you have heard untill you experience it first hand.

Anybody actually fished out of one or own one? I will probably be buying used, and am not too concerned with speed. More with layout, deckspace, storage etc.

I have fished in a 9 series Nitro and I think the platform is very stable and fish's well. Plenty of room. I didn't care for the ride and I thought it was lazy getting out of the hole. I drove the last one I was in and it didn't seem to run well at mid range which is where I run my boat unless tournament fishing. It only seemed to perform well if you mashed it down and ran it hard. That is not my style, but if it is yours then you may like it. I didn't care for the latches on the rod lockers and such, but the boat did have a huge amount of storage. I would also think about life span of that boat. Is it a long life span, or do you care about that. Are you going to trade it in two years, if so, then you probably don't care. Some other boats brands I see at the ramp are older and still look very good and a Nitro may do the same if taken care of. But I don't see too many old Nitro's out there, but then again I don't know that I am looking for them either. You can trash anything if you don't take care of it, and with the price of these new boats, I don't understand why you wouldn't take the best care possible with them.

Good luck with your decision.
