So freinds emailed to see if they could come over in a few weekends, right? Well the wife turns immediately to me and says, hey lets rent a cabin and go fishing THAT weekend! I love my wife!

Anyway, I guess I need suggestions for a place to stay on Lake Fork or Toledo Bend. I'll will be either Bass Fishing(when it's me and the dog) and Crappie and Bream fishing when the wife tags along. Anyone have any favorite suggestions on cabin rentals with dock or boat slips for rent?

Pet freindly as well, Thanks! thumb

I second what Jim Sr. said. We stayed at Big Mouth Lodge last month and really enjoyed it. The cabins are really nice and clean. Pet friendly but there is a small fee, which we thought was very reasonable. They have a private boat ramp that is brand new. Also, they have a good sized private dock which we fished from.

Mark and Wendy are the owners. Very nice folks. Wendy told me a guest caught a 9 lb. LMB right off the bank the week before we were there. eeks

Cant wait to go backI would suggest you call soon because I know they are already booked for Memorial weekend. Have fun!

Cypress Bend http://www.cypressbend.com/ which has a hotel or lake cabin but it is on the La side.

Harbor light http://www.harborlightmarina.com/ has some new lake cabins also.

At Lake Fork if you want to get away from the Motel room feel try out this link. There is nothing fancy about it, but it sure feels more like getting away from the world versus being surrounded by another 100 fisherman at the motels.
