Headin out to stay on Buchanan for acouple of days this week with some buddies. Anyone got any reports or tips? I am very familiar with the lake just havent got out to fish it in a few months. We will be droppin jug lines(where should we?), drifting for Striper( where are the stripers hittin?), lookin for crappie(docks? trees?), whatever comes our way....Thanks in advance

Same here. Heading out for a 3 day/nite stay. How is the fishing in general? Thanks.

I fished it a month ago from my buddy's fishing camp in Tow. They were just stringing up a 25lb yellow cat (trot line), when I got there. We fished mostly the upper end of the lake and didn't do much. The wind picked up and blew up off the lake. I caught a few small ones up river at the second set of falls. I hear you can troll up and down the river and catch whites all day on a small crank bait.
