 RC next weekend (5/9-11)

Any recent reports on RC. Richland Chambers is my favorite lake. I'll be there Fri-Sun. I'm taking my mother fishing for mother's day. I havent fished with her since the early 80's. I hope she can catch lots of fish...

Lots of Whites and very few Hybrids. Not sure how the Live Bait Guys are doing, but the artificial fishermen aren't catching the big Hybrids like years past. Fish in all the normal spots. See you on the Lake! Royce www.gonefishin.biz

the white bass have been easy to catch and a lot of small ones, yet keepers. Didn't catch one hybred. The crappie were biting in the shallows till the cold front and that seem to slow it down some.
Good move taking Mom fishing! There are fishing guides if you are not familiar with the lake. But white bass catching usually on the weekends, just follow all the boats that are stacked up.The schools are big enough to share.

I'll be leaving out in the morning. Maybe I can get some fishing in before dark on Friday.

We spent a great mothers day weekend on the lake with mom. We caught lots of fish Friday Sat. & Sunday. Sunday the wind blew almost all day but we did manage to get out for a little while after lunch. Mom wanted to catch lots of fish so we droped "prune picker" slabs most of the time. We did catch a few hybrids though. Some hybrids were caught on downriggers some on slabs.
