Going there in 2 weeks and never been there. Bass fishing trip with boss for a company tourney. A friend told me it was dangerous and you needed to know how to run it. Anybody been there and have any tips? Is there somewhere local to get a map and study it ahead of time?

the water is way up right now on that lake. the ramp at eufala cove is closed right (marina side), but the ramp on they other side of eufala cove is open. so might want check couple days before you go.

the danger part about this lake, is the wind. if the wind is up around 15-20 it getts really dangerous. there's been lots bassboat sunk, because of the waves (big rollers-I'm mean big)

the shoot is can get pretty rough too, during the day with all the boats going in and out. the shoot is a narrow and waves just bounce of the cliffs back and forth. making some big rollers and waves. the shoot leads you towards the dam from eufala cove.

other then that is dang good fishery, watch out for floater too.

I've fish it many times, you also can go to basszone.com for more info. about this lake. basszone board caters to oklahoma lakes, just like TFF.

thanks. I will have to check that ramp at the premeeting on Friday because we are supposed to launch out of the cove that says south. I have managed to find a PDF map for it and am looking at it right now.
