has anyone ever fished here for crappie during the spawn ? ive heard some stories of nice limits coming out of there so i wanted to give it a try this weekend any info is appreciated

i was in there a week ago and caught two big black Crappie on a Texas Rig. So I would guess they are in there and you should do very good.
Also another good spot to catch some huge crappie is in the statepark. There is a boat ramp back in there somewhere it is a single lane boat ramp. It is a pretty big cove there is some reeds in the back of it that are pretty deep. Take a jig and just walk the bank with some waders and drop the jig in some holes and hold on. Ton of big crappie in there if you ever want to go check it out.
can't catch fish if you arent at the lake...go fish!!!
