Lowrance H20. You can get them for about 140 bucks, they are waterproof and they tame MMS cards.
Yes I did admit defeat. Good job back to back champion

I like the Garmin "GPSMAP 60 C" I have used hand held GPS for a while and this is one of the better ones. For good information on hand held units check out geocaching.com, the people here have been using them for years. You will find a lot of good information there. As for learning how they work, you may want to try geocaching, after you find 50 or 100 caches you will understand how a GPS works, you should have this many caches close to your home. A great place to buy is gpsdiscount.com, good prices and fast shipping. If your spending 400.00 dollars and all you want is unit for fishing I suggest spending a few more dollars and getting a color fish finder GPS combo. If you're interested in using this in the car, on the trail while hunting or hiking etc. the GPSMAP 60 C is a great unit.
YES they are worth the money. If you can get within 10 feet of the place you caught fish last year by going back to a saved waypoint, its worth it.

The advantage to me of the Lowrance H2O and similar units is the ability to download the FREE Enhanced Lake Maps from Lowrance. They cover lots of Texas lakes as well as other states. This is if your primary use is for fishing. It still works for hunting and road trips, just not as well as higher priced units made for that.

I would pay a little extra and get the H2O Color unit.
