YOu got more money than sense.

Just like we spend 50,000 on a boat to catch fish...... Cant take money with you when you go might as well spend it.

I have both the Falcon Low Rider and Shimano Crucial rods and like them both. I would give the edge to the Crucials. However, I have not found any reel that exceeds the Shimano Chronarch 50MG for wacky rigging the Senco. Couple that reel with a very light rod and you will not be dissapointed. IMHO

I used to think like that too ... Its kinda like the Champion logo ... "Ride and Decide"!

I've been upgrading since I've had this change of philosophy from Falcon Lowriders to Caras and my catching has improved.

Oh, Grandpa, I am sure this setup will be usable in other applications. cheers

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !

I personally throw them on a Falcon Cara CC-5-1610S with a Daiwa Steez reel. Total weight less than 9 ozs for the combo. I normally use Sunline Sniper FC fluoro in 12lb variety. On amore economical note I really would reccomend the Daiwa HSTA since you want a reel less than $200.00 as it is awesome for the rice.
