Thanks Stucky76 I feel the same way. Although I did hear that they are doing pretty good in the marinas...may just be rumor as I haven't caught the first one yet.

I have not been this year but I would start shallow as they should still be spawning, try the back of the creek at twin coves and work your way back,if no luck start hitting the empty boat slips,I have had better luck with boat slips at silver lake and scotts landing than at twin coves,if that dont work find you some brush piles/condos,look off main lake points on sharp drop offs in 15-25 ft.,I have always perfered chartruse roadrunners on the vine when fishing brush piles,if you cant find any make your own and you will have you a good spot to fish all summer.

The timber in twin coves holds fish and the points of the creeks have brush piles...

Actually there are brush piles all over twin creeks but if you fish the timber and find the right ones you can do well...Check the back of the creek as well, shallow...

I used to fish a rock pile just off a point on the North side of the lake. I have not been in years and can't rember which cove it was. Always did good for Crappie. I'll search around and see if I can't get the name.

I have fished twin coves post spawn but mostly to get out of the wind,I prefer main lake brush piles if I can stay on them,I have been out to the vine twice this year but only to play with the new fish finder,I did find the rock crusher last time out and will be fishing it for sure this summer,I plan to go next tue. if the weather cooperates and will try to put a few more piles in then, lost almost all of my piles in the floods last year but did find a few that some nice poeple have already put in for this year, yall keep up the good work.
