Put in at dam 4 pm. Saw nothing until 155 bridge. Fished old road and bridge, char slab, 2 hibrids 21 inches, 1 blue cat 3lbs, 4 sandies, 1 large crappie. Back to dam saw nothing, caught nothing there. Home drank beer cleaned fish. Good luck!!! TRON

The bridge area and coves to each side have been the only consistent areas lately. I'll be there saturday with friends from out of town. Any reports of action thru the week will be appreciated.

Sandbass have been on the edges of main lake humps and ridges moving into the coves later in the afternoon. Mid day 18-23ft then shallower late afternoon.
Hybrids are consistantly inconsistant (for me). Some surfacing. The females are loaded with eggs and every now and then you can have a great afternoon. My TFF neighbor, cbass, had one that tipped the scales at 11.8. He has a picture so maybe he will share.
Baits. 1-1&1/2 ounce spoons, chrome or chartruese, 4&1/2 inch swimbaits/ pearl/white with a 3/4 oz head. Topwater: pencil poppers and Top dogs in any color walked very fast.
Water: 70 degrees and stained. No birds. But key on Herrons and near their location. They are the real professionals.

Just to be clear on the pics. The top pic is the hybrid and the 2nd is pure striper(29.9lbs) caught at Canyon Lake several years, both are personal bests for me. Thanx guys for the kudos, my trolling motors down and looking out my back door the water is slick, the exact same conditions the brids were active on top.Go get them Chuck!
