I like to use Eagle Claw 5/0or6/0 long shank stainless salt water hooks on my lines, the Brazos has some salt content in it & I have had to chunk way too many of the non stainless steel in the trash because they were rusted out like they were used in the gulf after being in the water for a season! I am gonna try some of the circle hooks that I can order from Memphis Net & Twine. I've heard lots of good things about them, so I wanna give 'em a try!
Keep your powder dry & don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes!!

Im not easily impressed, but its about time someone made hook with the capabilities of a circle hook and a kahle... BTW... no affiliation what so ever.. just looks like a good hook! I may have to order some!

If you are using some circle hooks and others that are not, try putting a bell or a different kind of warning device on that rod or rods to remind you.
I like Laser Sharp circle 3/0 - 5/0 for eating sized fish.

I dont know I like a little rust on my hooks, helps them hang on to bait better, of course I use 12-14/0 mustad and eagleclaw circle hooks, so you gotta get alot of rust before it weakens the hook. We fish alot of hooks that are very rusty, most are dull, and some even have the tips of the hook broke off, but they still catch fish every time. They are cheap strong, and have a fishing life of about 4 years before we cull them out, works great for us, however I would like to get some of the team catfish hooks to try for rod and reel fishing, I am starting to like circle for rod fishing more and more every day.

Eagle claw 90SS in 9/0 and 10/0. I only catfish with lines though. Circle hooks seem to be really popular right now and I have tried them on lines once. They made it one baiting of the lines. I cut and chunked them and retied the old tried and true 90 SS.

The one's that catch fish. But I can't seem to find those.
I like fishing, I like hunting and my wife doesn't give me any grief when i do either one. How cool is that!

i was told this about the dual action hooks, is this true:
They are circle hooks.....Daiichi Light Chunk Bleeding Bait Hooks to be exact. I'm guessing Team Catfish has a licensing agreement with Daiichi because they are the same hook different name
