birds=fish, birds=fish, birds=fish....get the picture. launched from isle de bois park at 10:30am . cates point=no fish. main lake south of wolf island. sitting birds. fish on from there. fish all over. my 5yoa son=60+, my friend=100+, me=50+. i couldnt fish at the same time and bait and unhook my son's catch. i barely caught 50+ fish because my son took a 45min nap- hahahaha.
we drifted into the sitting or diving birds cus i'm too cheap to put a trolling motor on my runabout. we then anchored once we got close to the birds. fished 3 spots. kept 61 fish cus we loast count-hhahahah. my buddy's best day fishing ever and my son's . my 2nd best day.
If I'm lucky I'll die with a 7' spinning rod in my hand.

It was another great day out there. I had another great evening (minus one cell phone and one bad slip and fall at the boat ramp) with many magnums in the bag. Great job getting your son out there, he will remember that trip for a while. It sure was busy out there for a Monday, but everybody was catching.
