You've just got to love it!!!  There is a pond less than 3 minutes from my house that is passed by thousands of cars every day. I have fished this pond for a couple of years now and had great success. The funny thing is, almost every time I fish there some jacka$$ will drive by and tell me "There ain't no fish in there!" This has happened numerous times. I simply smile and wave and keep my little secret to myself. Little do they know that the 7.5 pounder that I stuck with a spinnerbait last year (released) would probably disagree.  Moral of the story is this: Don't overlook high pressured neighborhood ponds. Chances are that many people have probably written it off years ago. Here are a couple of pics of the post spawn female I caught today. She absolutely SLAMMED a 5 inch Basstrix fat minnow. She went just over 4 pounds. She makes it somewhere around a dozen in the 4-6 lb range that I have caught there over the last year or so. There's no telling how good this pond would be if there were actually fish in it!!!

I fish a concreat tube that runs under a major highway and KILL the crappie in the spring.
No one has a CLUE yet...
They all drive by and look at me like "what an idiot".

Awesome. I had the same thing happen to me last week on the golf course and as the non-believers were driving off, I caught a 5 pounder. I had to yell and hold it up.
