I caught this today on LBJ on a big lizard. It weighed in at 3.8lbs. What is this brown fish? Sorry for the poor quality cell phone picture.

looks like a gaspergoo!! a freshwater drum, still fun to catch, especially on a fly rod

Yup...drum. I grew up fishing LBJ...used to catch those on crankbaits and minnows all the time. They are actually pretty good eating!
