Wifey just bought me a Flambeau soft side, the big one that zips
apart....5005 ST.

I have always been a "conventional" tackle box man, so I don't really know how I am going to like it. So far it is just sitting there, looking like a piece of luggage or something!

Anybody here have experience at making a transition from conventional to this "luggage looking" stuff??

Thanks, Chuckwagon smile

The first time I saw one I jumped on it. I now have at least 1/2 dozen in different sizes for different occasions.

Well, I think I will start "filling her up" with baits. It has 5
inserted plastic bait boxes, 4 in the bottom and one in the top.
Should be fun putting in those little "dividers" that come with it. I might let the grandkids give me a hand with it if they promise to not holler everytime they get a hook puncture!

I have too many---want to buy some. Seems I always am finding one a little different. I would never consider a hard box again. Plus the wife mentioned burying me in one of my many softsided boxes if I brought another one home full of baits again.

I have 2 of the soft bags & I like them both ....I just got in the mail a bag from Field & Stream I got it by subscripting to their magazine so now I have 3 ... I also have 2 fanny bags that I use when walking the banks on ponds & all I have to do is switch boxes from One bag to the other I think the bags are the best thing since the invention of slice bread

I have not bought a soft bag. I bought a bag like you would work out at the gym, or an overnight looking bag with a shoulder strap. I have filled it with those plastic boxes. I bought the bag for less than 15 bucks.
