Went to Waco for some crappie fishing. Took a co-worker Brad Shelton with me. Went up the north Bosque and it was running too fast with lots of trees and junk floating in. Came back out and found lots of bird working out from Reynolds creek boat ramp. We had non stop action for about 45 min. We were catching them two at a time. All caught on TNT and Holiday slabs with a Jigum Jig trailer! Ended the day with some nice crappie too!!!

Jason
I have been in Nebraska all week and did not know about the rain. Did it rain enough to wash big trees down again?

spent 4 hours in the middle Bosque. with the recent rains, the main lake has pretty muddy but up in the river its still very clear. with the lake level up, had no probs getting past the first 2 sandbars. the boat ramp at midway park was packed, but we only saw 2 or 3 boats and for most of the day it was just us. had a great day of fishing!! we caught multi species of fish- blue gills, perch, black bass, white bass, and a catfish. we were using live minnows along with small crank baits and in line spinners. we saw hundreds of fish all day long. saw several nice black bass that were 18' plus, but with the clear water they were easily spooked and we would just catch glimpses of them here and there. I dont think we went more than 10 or 15 min without one of us catching a fish. in some cases we could watch the fish take our bait right in front of us. going to have a good fish fry tonight with the 5 whites and the catfish that we kept. the only downer of the day was having our trolling motor literally catching fire...

Went out Sat am and got into a big school of 12-15 inch whites, between Lacy point and reynolds creek. Graph looked like it does at cedar creek or richland chambers when you are on a big school. Kind-a nice to see at Waco.
Lasted about an hour and as soon as the sun came out - they disappeared.
Ended up keeping about 10 of the 15 inchers and 3 nice crappie that hit the slabs in the school. Yum-Yum

I've got the Goldfish!!!
Hey Dbones, I went to Belton 4 weeks in a row there but havent been the past 2 weekends. I caught lots of fish those weekends but have been busy the past 2 weekends with track and stuff. No more of that for me. Get to relax and enjoy the end of school now b/c we are not doing spring football either. So once school is out each day its time to go fishing!!! How are things there at Belton? Talked to Warehime the other day and he told us some things.
Been fishing lately?
