Didn't mean to infringe on your event. If I need to change it I will not a problem. These are just proposed dates. Thanks Mike

Don't misunderstand bud. It was an invitation, not an infringement. We'd be happy to have as many soldiers as you can muster. I was just trying to say the morning's for fishing and the afternoon's for eating and visiting(telling lies). We haven't been able to eat all the food the last two years anyway. I hope I speak for the rest of the Bunch in saying our heroes are welcome at our party.

We should take the guys out in the morning and feed them in the afternoon. Just let us know how many.

I'm in for anywhere near DFW. I can foot the bill. If you want white bass or hybrid action Richland Chambers and Cedar Creek are great.

I posted your thread over in the crappie forum. Seems there is alot of interest in such a short time that I posted it. Got 4 boats for sure and I am sure there will be more. Some of the guys were wondering about moving Granger up on the list to fish it during the Aug/Sep timeframe. I will be your man on the ground @ Granger and will make contact with the Corp of Engineers to give them a heads up. Let me know what you need for us to do. Thanks again for getting this up and running. Dave

Keep on fishing.

GRANGER AND WACO HAVE BEEN SWITCHED --- PER REQUEST

If you guys would like to set up a bbq and everything that is fine.

I need a group with all the equipment for a fish fry to include the fish LOL for my event on Fork in Sept. Looking to feed the troops after fishing. Let me know if you know somebody who knows somebody please. Thanks Mike

fisterfam,

I'm here for ya at Lewisville. Let me know the details of how this all works, and I will try to organize as best I can. I think we can put this together without too much trouble. A day of fishing and a fish-fry after. I have just the spot for it. I think the "Lewisville Crew" will step up for this, and really make it a great event.

Ray Roberts has replaced Lake Waco unless I get more requests for Waco.

Stillhouse is not on the list because the Corps of Engineers will not issue a permit for bigger events that I why I went with Belton. This does not mean we can't have a few boats that fish Stillhouse be filled with Soldiers.

Later Mike

Mike,
Being an old retired soldier, you can surely count me in for Belton. I can take two in my boat and will provide everything. Can't promise a lot of fish but will definitely be a pleasure to take our soldiers out on the lake.

Don't forget about us here at Richland Chambers! Now that I know what the program is all about we need another opportunity to show you what we can do. I enjoyed having everyone over and taking you into the wolrd of sand bass fishing! It is fun, easy and you don't have to be a pro to catch fish. There are a ton of regulars on this lake that can get it right the first time around. About 98% of them with much more experience than myself. If we put the word out a van from Ft. Hood isn't gonna haul enough folks for the boats...you better find a bus!
