Would like to know how you did

i started going there 2 weeks ago...the first time i went the fishing was fantastic with cork and jig....the hybrids were all over...

i went this past sunday and was skunked...not a lot of action..maybe after a good rain to get more water flowing?

We been fishing there for the last 3 weekend now and have been doing really good. Right now the water is kinda low and fishing a little harder to limit out. There are a lot of people right next to the bridge were using live shad and catch their share of hybrids. Sorry no picture on that, but we will try to take some pictures this coming weekend.

Fishing bite better early morning until 12PM and everything just slow down after that until the next morning.

Good luck if you go there,

That was before, but now it is totally different.
You might be able to pull a few out of the water, but it is going to be very tuff to get your limit before dark.
We have tried this last Sunday and I am all worn out due to a lot of walking and standing in one place and fish. Some of us get knocked out as soon as they get inside the vehicle.

went there yesterday did no good! Caught 2 only 1 weighed in at just a little over 10lbs and the other was 8lbs.

The conditions have to be just right for them to turn on. When there is a cold front pushing through, with cloudy skies and rain.

I went out there after work on Tuesday morning and got there about 6am. There were already 8 guys shoulder to shoulder casting towards the spillway. They where
hitting hybrids off and on but nothing to brag about. I didn't feel like combat fishing so I made my way down the creek and caught a 20lbs+ carp on a 1/4oz. white bucktail. That thing came in like a piece of driftwood. The folks on the other side were using live shad like KrazyFish said and where doing pretty good on white
bass. After about 20mins of getting my lines caught from the other side I decided to combat fish with the guys buy the cable. Didn't catch any hybrids on this trip. The color that seems to catch the most hybrids was blue. I never owned or used blue bucktails for freshwater before. Go figure, I will be their next time at 4am with
some blue bucktails.

Doesn't matter what time you get there, there will always someone there before you.
Next time you out there at 4AM, you might want to get some PINK bucktail also. If the fish decide to go the other way rolfmao
