I was thinking about heading north to TEXOMA. Where is a good place to start and a boat ramp. I not asking for your spot just a general area and a little guidance.

Highport is where I would start. Haven't been myself lately, but that is where a lot of the guides are launching (sorry guides, smile ). I hope the lake doesn't rise much more. We close our ramp at 620, so it's closed right now.

I second that, then I would try North of the islands up to and past the 377 bridge. I'm not that familure with Texoma or the seasonal patterns just my two cents.

Where are you traveling from? That will depend on what ramp maybe best/closest for ya. If you end up going to Texoma, you better have your rear on the water at 6:30 sharp if your picking up shad. If you don't go to Texoma, there are a couple reports here about Ray Roberts being hot right now. Just something to consider.
