They say the wade/kayak fishing is good off the bay side of Galveston Island State Park.

Not many places around Clear Lake or Nassau Bay that I would want to wade. Around Texas City, check out dollar point....good wading bottom and on occasion good fishing. As mentioned, San Luis Pass is a really great area, but always, always wear a PFD when fishing around that pass.

Seabrook, there is the Lagoon north of the Kemah bridge.
Clear lake, you can wade out at the light after the Hilton and go towards the bridge.
Skyline, just go past the 2 houses on the right and you can wade all the way down to the mouth of Moses lake at the floodgate. just don't get too close to the mouth because the water sucks in and out of there pretty hard.
Galveston, you can wade at Seawolf park or go to sportsman's road and you can wade that shoreline. Go all the way to the dead end and walk off there.
Be very careful in any of these places until you know the area.
Good luck!

Where do u wade at Seawolf Park? I go to the pier almost every Friday night during summer, but never noticed a place to wade.

Thanks for the info imhammer!!! I've been looking for quality wade fishing areas near the same places for quite a while now, and you have me excited to try those spots this summer.

big_country1488....No problem. I have been given lots of info over the last year on good wading spots, so glad to help out.

djdiggydiggy....At Seawolf, you can wade from the pier all the way around to the Concrete ship, or you can wade the other side from the end of the big ship all the way down the shoreline.

I almost forgot, there is also mosquito island. It is off the left side of the Texas City dike just a few hundred yards down from the bait camp. You can see a shell reef protruding out quite a ways. I hear they are catching quite a few good fish out there right now on tops, plastics and live shrimp.

Ive gone to mosquito island, and not to many bites. Used dead shrimp, and tops, but nothing good. One oversize drum, but let go since it was full of worms. better fishing of st. louis and seawolf (good flouder). Try brown lures, they are good.

imhammer, you had good luck on sportsman road. I would like to go and check it out, any tips witch direction, or do you wade the grass line?
