We have one each. Can't use that excuse these last two tournaments. Paul still gets to fish RR, he'll be tough there. The second tournament on Lavon got pulled in place of a second CC tournament. Rumor has it, that it was due to the $50 fee. rolfmao I'd pay the $50 tournament fee. I'd still be $50 ahead on fuel from driving down there....

Nice fish. I've always wanted to fish LOP. Have not had the chance yet. It would help if I could stay in town for a bit.

Helo from Santiago, Chile.

Actually the second Lavon Tournament got replaced by the Classic which may still be at Lavon. The second CC tournament replaced the Fork tnmt because the board felt that the members didn't want to drive that far on $3.00 gas. The Grapevine tnmt was replaced by the second Richland Chambers tnmt because of the weight-in fee.

Don't believe every Rumor that you hear.

Nice string of fish Jerry & Paul. You guys are the ones to beat these days.

Not that I disagree with the board's decision regarding Lake Fork, but to me distance wise, Richland Chambers is almost the same as Lake Fork. Why wouldn't the same argument apply. I'm not really trying to stir up probably a dead issue, just trying to understand the difference in philosophy.

Never took much stock in rumors anyway.

Tracy, I promise you don't want to fish Grapevine in July. Someone would have been killed by an idiot.
Rc may be further but it is a better fishing lake.
CC is a lot further away than Fork? I don't get these changes either but we have no say in this dictatorship rolfmao

I may fish RC and RR but that is about it for me.

Well Jerry, if you start from McKinney it may be closer to Fork but most of the members start from the DFW area and it's closer to CC. Your partner is the one that suggested that we change the Fork tnmt, not that it matters, the whole board supported the changes.

I assume since you added the smiley face that the comment about a "Dictatorship" was meant as a joke. If not it should be pointed out that when the club was formed you were picked as one of the board members and one month later you resigned from the board. (You could have been one of the dictators today) grin grin

A lot of serious discussion was put into the changes to the schedule at the last board meeting and the ones made were supported by the entire board.

And since you are in a joking mood, here's one for you. Based on your comments it looks like you are "afraid to fish a lake where someone else may have an advantage". grin

I know that you are too good a fisherman for that to be true. I'm betting that you will be at all the tournaments. We're all looking forward to the competition.

It's almost like the backyard, tree-house club with the bickering *j/k*. Kinda funny, but glad everyone knows it's all in good fun.

I work the weekend of the next tourney, so even if I got a back-seat with someone, I couldn't go.

My next shot may be the RR deal with the fish-fry afterward that Lnyndee was promoting on May 10th. DaleJrFan is still trying to see if he can get off call that weekend (I'll be back from Padre Isle just a few days previous of that one), so I may need to see if someone has an open back-seat for that RR/fish-fry tourney on May 10th.

Good luck to everyone.

It sure is sounding like some kind of club! I shouldn't even be posting on here, but feel like I should say something. It has been said before, that, there is no way of pleasing everyone. We all don't live in Mckinney and we all don't live in Carrollton. We all have home lakes. I assume that we all like to fish, seein that we are all in a "fishing club". I speak for myself when I say the "board", but we "the board" have spent a lot of time arguing and discussing what and what not will good for the club. We know that every choice that is made is not going to please everyone. To me it is about fishing, not arguing.
None of the lakes that we will be fishing are my home lakes, but I should be at the rest of the tourny's. I only missed the first due to the flu and prior committments before the dates where decided.

I for 1 am glad that we all have the oppurtunity to fish local tourny's. I have fished in the last 2 yrs. in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas. If my memory serves me right, there were locals at all those tourny's I fished the last 2 yrs. I beat alot of them, and a lot of them have beat me. I am just glad that we have these oppurtunities now here at home. CC, and RC are a lot closer and cheaper than Truman, or Stockton.

You won't here a B^%$h from me, if you do, it sure won't be in front of everyone on this forum.
