My father-in-law takes guides out of Venice, LA and always catches plenty of fish. Just do a search and it comes up with tons of guides. Being sort notice, I'm sure you'll have to comb through several, but a lot of them run a few boats. You should be able to find an opening somewhere. From the way he talks about the place, you're going to have a great time.

Try Belle Pass Marina in Fourchon, La. they have charters, lodging, store, bar, boat slips, bait and beach is nearby. Capt Chris Moran w/ Cajun Made Charters owns it and he has several boats for offshore and inshore. (225-931-7306) I've fished with him for years and have done very well. He has a great reputation on the La. Coast. If you don't have luck with that, try Grand-Isle.com and look up some of the other guides in that area.
Good Luck to all!!
