Is anyone here using Spiderwire Invisibraid and what do they think of it? I'm tempted to get some but wanted to get some opinions first. Thanks!

I use it and love it. It is very castable and strong. I have no idea how invisable it is under water because I can see it myself. I haveonly tried the 15 lb but I will put the big stuff on when I need to restring my big rods.

Yeah it just looked like white braid to me but wasn't sure.

Dang I forgot the main reason I wanted to try it was so I could see it better and it does stand out. I just had cataract surgery this morning so now maybe i can really see it.

I am using 65 lb. on a couple of rods for worms, crawdads, etc. I got it so I could watch the line better. I thought it was maybe to visible under water so have put on 4-5' leaders of a 20 lb. copoly.

I have been using it and really like it. I also have been using a 5' leader with it. It really makes it easier to watch see the line. No complaints.

I will stick with power pro...Somehow if I can see it...it makes me think the fish can see it too.
When you compare 30# power pro to Invisibraid when fishing in the wind their is no comparrison. The wind loves to blow that Invisibraid all over the place (for me any way).
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

I like using braid.. can't beat the sensitivity.. I will usually take a black marker and run the line across it, about 10 feet or so.. that pretty much camoflouges it.

I have used it with mixed results. I like the castability and I think it is clearer than most braids but its not like Floro for sure. The few issues I have encountered is that it tends to bury in the spool pretty easy I guess because it is slick. It also has the tendancy to tangle pretty easy and the other concern is I used it in the rocks the other day and it seemed to cut fairly easy on the edges of the rocks. I am really concened about how it will hold up to steel around docks and railings?

Well I am accustomed to fishing a lot of clear water lakes, so 'hiding' the line is a must.. using that method of hiding the braid, has never hindered teh fishing, so I have to say yes... it works. I have fished along side guys with teh same baits, with the only difference being the line, so I haven't been disappointed with the results.

Just use a leader--how do you know using a black marker didn't hinder your fishing--maybe if you would have used a leader you would have caught 2X as much or maybe the guy with you didn't know what he was doing. Just something to think about.

I've tried the both the Ivisibraid and the Fireline Crystal. I prefer the ivisibraid by far.
