help!!! keep this post alive..found black lab male about 1yr old.. real good dog ..but i cant keep him i've got 4 dogs now i'am gonna hold him till sunday eve if the owner does'nt show i'll give him away. if your the owner call me and i.d whats on his neck.if you want to be the new owner please dont call..pm me with a phone # and i will call you about 6 pm sun. first one that wants him get him ive gone to the vet. and he does not have a chip 30$ investment could have got the owner his dog back...thanks for the help BRIAN 817-688-8191 FOUND HIM THE LITTLE ELM AREA

You should ask for other identification, the collar in the pic is what I assume you were talking about for them to identify to claim now they can see it, I would hate for whoever lost him to not get him back, he is a beautiful boy....The newspaper here post lost and found animals for free , maybe if you have the same he might be in there...just a thought. We have had alot of dogs stolen from our clients of late, right out of the yard, usually a high dollar dog but they are stealing anything of value, monetary to them , family to us...hope they get him back, your a nice one for helping the guy out......Hammerhead

Yes - definitely see if a vet can scan him for a chip. That is becoming very popular now, my own dog has the chip inserted between his shoulder blades.
