I am a soldier, I have 10 days left until I head to afghanistan. My Father in law is here visiting, and we would like to go fishing. I have a boat, and it is equipped with gps etc. Got the fishing poles, and a full tank of gas. Problem is I dont know what lures to use or where on either lake to go to get some crappie. Anyone willing to give up a coordinate or two and some lure recommendations? I would like to head out tonight or tomorrow if possible.

Caught them on Stillhouse last week at night. find a place where the channel swings close to the bank and sit on top of the drop off. Use a drop light or lantern to draw the shad. I used jigs and was catching them 3 to 1 to the guys around me using minnows.
