After numerous request from my parents and wife we went out yesterday to try and find some fish! What in the world was I thinking? Wind was out of control! I can only say that I was thankful that we were in a pontoon (I think). Anyhow after leaving one cove on lavon, wife wanted to try and go fish the cove by the power plant and in the process of trying to get there, my dad and I ended up getting soaked and we tried to keep the ladies dry, so I turned and head with the wind to try and find a cove any cove out of the dang gum tidal waves. We looked like we just got off a water ride at six flags. Anyhow tied up to a tree in 5 feet of water, and ended up catching 7 nice keepers. First time my dad has ever caught a crappie. 6 females 1 male, fishing 2-3 feet down, all on minnows, they didn't like any of the jigs I had to offer them. Biggest was 15 smallest was 12, as soon as I figure out how to put pics on here I will, hopefully tonight! Must say I do not think I will ever get any of them on the water with wind like that again! But hey we caught 7 nice ones so that was all that mattered, the rest is just the minor details grin

Good job 007!

Next time they'll be more careful of what they ask for! smile

I just figured the picture thing out the other day myself.

1) You have to upload the pic from your PC to a picture hosting site.(I used www.photobucket.com).

2) You must copy the URL(internet address to the pic) and paste it in your post.

3) Paste the URL for people to click on to open the pic or if you want the pic to appear in your post automatically...put the following syntax BEFORE and AFTER the URL link.

There should be NO spaces in the entire link. Example:

In this example I had to insert a space between "crappie.jpg" & "[/img]" so the link would show up in the post but it's not needed.
