Drove all the way up there just to turn around and come home. It looked like a real beating out on the main lake. Decided it was better to cancel the trip and live to fish another day. I hate having to cancel trips because of wind, but I guess I have to get used to springtime in Texas!!!!! The weather report says calmer winds tomorrow. Will try again then.

I spent all day convincing myself that putting a 16ft aluminum flat bottom boat in the lake today was a bad idea. So I watched Golf instead.

BOB I told you before you got to the water it was bad!
I took my 17ft tracker for a ride to the water just to turn around and head home.
Old Long eye called me said I was crazy!! I would have been crazy to put my boat in that water!
Maybe next weekend!

It's still blowing up here at 7:22. Dang wind, I guess I will put the boat away. Mother nature wins today. The right decision Bob!

Hey Shawn, that new Ranger you have should be perfect for RayBob in a 20 mph wind.
