I have one about like that grandparents gave me when I was 22 or so with stick steer and it's still going 10 years later it's not too pretty but catches fish

I still have my old SkeeterHawk. '76 model, 16' with steering wheel rather than stick steering. It needs a new floor which I am working on a little at a time now. Although I have a new Triton now, nothing will take the place of that Skeeter. That old boat literally caught thousands of fish. The Triton is great and I love it, but it does not yet have the 'character' that SkeeterHawk has.
It is orange and we affectionally call it the orange bathtub.

haha well i havnt givin this one a nickname yet but im sure my friends will come up with them. theve always givin me nicknames so im sure the boat will fall into place on that subject

Congrats on the boat! My 1st boat had a stick steering too. It was a Terry Bass boat. I had lots of fun with that boat and caught LOTS of fish in it. Hey, it beats the hell out of using the kitchen table!

well i have a huge lowe pontoon boat and a old seebreeze but thats too much to fool with when u just wanna load up and fish
