Fishing has been pretty steady the last week on Roberts. For the most part we are targeting spawning fish in the shallows. A wide variety of plastics have been working, with an occasional spinnerbait, chatterbait fish mixed in. For the most part anything green will work. When we can, we are fishing weightless plastics just as slow as we can stand it. Chad got his personal best, 5 lbr, on a fluke.

Stack with a nice 5lbr on a lizard.

Ron got this one on a senko

David got this nice 6lbr with a bloody tail, on a fluke

And I got a nice 6 1/2 on a fluke

So as you can see, plastics are working

I know it is hard, but you really need to fish them SLOW. That has made a big difference. Hard to do with the lovely Texas spring time winds.
Here is what I have left for April.
1/2 day pm April 21st
Open April 23rd
Open April 28th
May is starting to book up pretty good as well. Give me a call or shoot me an email to get on the water.
Thanks, as always.
