Is the Eagle FishElite 640c with 640x480 ($549) resolution worth the extra $100 over the 500c with 320x240 ($449) resolution?

My budget was about $450-500 but if it is worth the extra $ I may have to do it.

Yes it is. The more pixels the better. You get a much clearer and defined picture.

you bet and i bet the watts are greater on the 640

I bought the 640c the other night. Already installed and have the 480 moved to the bow on the trolling motor. Should test them on Lewisville tomorrow.
