Yep, this is amazing! I have lived here all my 39 years and I believe this is the worse wind I have ever seen outside a tornado and was too young to remember that! Everyone take heed, the weather is not something to mess with!
Dang going to be a long day, had to edit to reword it, must still be either asleep or scared @$@@less.

We haven't had any bad wind here in GP, at least not in my neck of the woods for GP. Still raining like cats and dogs.

Three 18 wheelers flipped on 635 near MacArthur. Every fire engine in town is out on power lines and fire alarms. Trees are down everywhere and construction materials are all over the road. Fortunately, no serious injuries with all the damage in Irving.

Safe and sound in my little valley in GR. Lots of noise... a decent rain... good weather for the weekend assault on a lake near by... to be continued

I live in an old neighborhood, actually it is as old as Fort Worth and it is nice to have big trees but after a big storm like last night, if looks like a post-hurricane zone.
I need to get into the tree trimming business. It is beginning to look a lot like last year.

Lots of lightening where I live. I swear it hit right outside my bedroom window, but I couldn't find any damage, thank goodness. Threats of tornadoes, high winds, small hail, I would hate to of been stranded on Texoma!

I was very worried last night when I went to bed that I would sleep through the storm--my wife, thankfully(note sarcasm), made sure that didnt happen and woke me up every 5 minutes----grrrrrr.

I woke up last night and it was a light show here. About 5:30 this morning I was up feeding my daughter. I was in the middle of a diaper change and the power went out. I had to wake up the wife and change the diaper by light from her cell phone.
Yes I did admit defeat. Good job back to back champion

It got pretty ugly here in Bedford around 3:30. Light show both lightening and transformers going out, high winds, no power, trees and limbs down . Luckily not my trees but one of my neighbors lost 3 trees, his neighbor had a tree fall on his power feed to the house and it ripped the feed right out of his house . We were lucky and only lost power for about 6hrs and of course hours of sleep thank the Good Lord .
