My Mister twister fillet knife shocked the carp out of me today while I was cleaning fish. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm going to try and return it to Academy. Any suggestions on another brand? Thanks for any info.

9 out of 10 doctors recommend not putting carp inside your orifice. They are best if caught and released, says the folks in the carp forums.

Go to the kitchen appliance section at Wal Mart or Target and buy one of the electric knives that you might use to carve a turkey or piece of meat. They work just as good or the same and they are cheaper. The ones that are labeled as a fish filleting knife are overpriced esp. the Mr. Twister. Make sure while you're filleting to wear rubber sole shoes and not get your filleting hand wet. You may get the shock of your life!

Good Luck to all!!!
