Interesting couple of days on the lake.

Friday AM: Serious wind right off the bat, had two guys very underdressed. Wind from the north 15-25. Anyway, got lucky and saw some birds working. Ended up with with 22 Sandies to clean, mainly males. Released many more, including 10 under Hybrids. Some of these were 07's(about 8 inches long). Customers were smiling through chattering teeth!

Friday PM: Wind was still there, Fish were not easy to find. Started to work humps and picking up fish, ended with 32 to clean, released twice that amount.

Saturday AM: A little breeze, clear skies. Had to look for the fish. Bite was VERY soft. Caught and released about 75 of all sizes. The Hybrids just did not want to cooperate!

Saturday PM: Back to the humps. Had to work hard to boat 35 Sandies of all sizes, Did hook one 18 Hybrid that got off at the boat. Again, bite was soft and subtle.

Sunday AM: The wind is howling out of the South, 25 plus. Found some fish stacked on a hump. It was on! Customers got 3 limits (pic below) and had a ball! Saw a few more of the little 07' Hybrids and two 17 inchers. A great day considering the wind!

Fish caught on TNT and Dakota slabs.

good going keith! i just got off the lake and the wind is horrible!!! i decided to put in at wise county and fish in the river and stay out of the main lake. we tried but once we got past lower unit is was just a ocean. we caught quite a few small to med size sandies not far from the boat ramp on rattle traps in flooded vegetation. water clarity around northside marina is bad to very dingy, water temp was around 63 to 64 everywhere. tons of small lmb the 8incher type in the north end right now. going to give it a try later this week if winds calm down.

Keith,
Wow! I don't know how you were able to get out there with those huge swells. Did y'all get wet? Good job! You always seem to deliver the goods.
