Ok, so word on the street is that an article and picture detailing the capture of Jason's buff is out in Carpworld. Any idea when we may get a chance to see the pics?!

Looks like it is in International Carper, too. In fact, Peter is on the cover with a big buff... check it out...

Notice that the description calls them "buffalo carp."

Yeah, they do call 'em that.

Hey Jason, you might really want to consider placing an ad in International Carper for you Buffalo Hunting Service, if you haven't thought about that already!

Yes, this is in the works! Eva has contacted them about pricing. I am a little nervous about advertising though. Right now I am only trying to fill 10 - 15 trips a year. At least this is my short term goal.

IC is definitely the best place to put an ad no doubt.

As a reader of Carpworld/Int Carper before I came out here, I really recommend the ad Jason as most brits are getting tired of the french carp trips and are looking for something a little more adventurous and different. There are always adverts for France and more recently eastern europe venues so something from this side of the pond may be a big hit, especially on the back of Peter's article. Can't wait to read it, I am having a copy sent over.

I'm going to have my cousin in England pick up a bunch of copies for me to have, and to hand out. International Carper, since it's got Peter on the cover hehe.

Maybe Carp World too.

It might be a bit pricey, I don't have any idea. But even a small ad might do the trick, who knows. You could state the fact that there are a limited number of slots available, first come, first serve. That would allow you to avoid an overbook situation and it might actually drive some interest up, too.

Anyway, it just seemed like a shame not to capitalize on that level of publicity. Best wishes with your new venture!

If you end up booking out too soon, you may want to raise the price for next year. You know, supply and demand baby.
