All I can say is "OH MY" Best it has been this year so far was last Tuesday. It doesn't get any better than that. Hopefully it wil hold on for another week, or more.

Gonna Be Cool in the Morn JKB. Better take a jacket! Hopfully this cold front will not shut them down completely. I fished last Thursday and the fish were few and small between.
I may see you there in the morn. Don't know yet. Jordan pitches in his baseball game at noon Sat. , so i'd need to be back early to watch. Guess I better fish Sat since Deniz and I are goin to the TMS Race Sunday.

Yeah I hope Kevin (Boatless in Wylie)is comin' with me in the morn'. It looks like we'll be OK, just 45 but warming quickly on the morning. Another guy told me that the flow from Lake Cleburne was down to about 58cfps from the lake cleburne damn. That heavy outflow was part of the reason there was so much water the last couple of weeks. I don't think this rain was very heavy that far south.
Trout Bum, did you fish upstream or downstream from on Tuesday? I will be in there before sunlight would sure like to know which direction to head. I'll be be able to tell from the water level I suppose.

Still going strong. Decided to take a few home for a fry, this time. Gonna fry a few, then blacken a few. Caught over 60, brought 21 nice ones home. Hope it lasts for a while longer. Troutbum

Went to the Nolan this morning and made a killin'! In tackle that is. Couldn't buy a bite on the fly. Met Trout Bum as he was leaving. I probably should've followed him to the next hole, but was determined to pull my first sb out of the Nolan on a fly. Maybe next year!

Tim, you made the right choice. Went to the river below whitney, and they had jus finished releasing. it was way high. caught 1 black bass, about 1 1/2 pounds, that's it. nice hob on the tackle collection.
