Can anybody recommend a digital camera in the $200-$250 price range. Waterproof or water resisitant is good but I know you probably can't get one for that price.
I had a Nikon Coolpix 3200 I dropped in the lake. I was happy with that camera til I killed it.

You might want to check out the OLYMPUS Stylus 790SW it waterproof and Shock proof. They make great cameras.

Second that with SaltyDawg88 Olympus has a waterproof to 10M. I like my kodak digital. But I am looking at one of these for the boat. Try ebay.

The Olympus Stylus 1030 ($350ish)- no one else is really making them water resisant and shock resistant, image stabilization to boot. I believe Pentax had a water resistant model P&S camera, too. I think the nikon is sharper but lacks the toughness.
