Nice CV! From what I understand they were mostly males. The spawn is just getting started. The water has risen to the lower 60's over the past week. As for colors for some reason I catch a lot of J.P. crappie on a purple/skiblue/pink jig. They are there you just have to look for them.

Since I stated earlier in this thread that I believe the spawn is starting (rapidly or not, it's starting). And since several in this same thread strongly believe that they are about done (or at least 1/2 way thru), you may be right....
Those of us think that the spawn is about over, then after this weekend the spawn is OVER....the SNAKES will get worst....No more shallow crappies....Yup....it's done for Joe Pool....Better Luck next year....:)
Less pressure; more for me....that's all I am saying....

Oh I think it has started. Don't know about the almost over part. Hope not, I was just getting warmed up. From the looks of it I won't be getting a boat any time soon (until my motorcycle sells). So I say - let em spawn to July

hell no it aint almost over, we got a month of good action as long as the weather cooperates and yer not skeered of snakes..
