Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

I saw four semis last weekend heading down 287 towards Ft. Worth with trailers stacked with bee hives. The hives were covered with a mesquito neeting like material to keep the bees in.
Saw the episode of 60 inutes about the honey bee guy who ships his bees all over the US. He said honey bees are disappearing and they don't know whats happening to them.
Had a hive move in last year under my pergola. Tried to relocate them, but couldn't get all the hive in a make-shift sack(pillowcase). My friend was a firefighter and put on is suit to try and get them. No luck. We finally resorted to Dawn soap in a hose end sprayer. Hated to kill them, but my wife was really starting to freak out since it was right next to our bedroom window.
Dawn soap in a hose end sprayer will kill most all bees, wasp, etc. as a last resort.

That is Paducah Volunteer Fire Departments Brush 7 and yes that is a bunker coat. We dont only fight fires and work wrecks here in Paducah. With the HUGE bee problem, including killer bees, over the past few years here in Cottle County we are also the B-TEAM hehe.

The Africanized Bee (killer bee) will chase you in excess of 3/4 of a mile where the regular honey bee will only go maybe 100 yards
