How big a crappie would you guys consider "big enough" to mount? Thanks

3 lb crappie is a trophy in my book. But you need to ask yourself what is a trophy in your book. Some most will never catch a 3 lb.

I agree . A 3 pounder would be my trophy catch. I think I would have it mounted.

Thanks for the input. Caught a dozen or so on Sunday. The prize was a big female that weighed 3.2 lbs. Our biggest to date.

If it were me, I'd mount several and attach them to a long flat piece of driftwood. After all, you can only fit so many in your freezer. As I have always said....one day....
But then again, Moma wouldn't like me putting my fish mouts over her framed pictures in the living room. Perhaps the office?
